About

Despite the elegant domain name, I have nothing to do with the LGBT+ community. So, This site is all about me; my experiences, my thoughts, and my lessons. However, if my random blurbs can help someone, I feel happy to share.

Although labels seem like common currency, I don’t care about a single immutable attribute. So, I won’t entertain any topic based on color, gender/sex, height, or age. If you like honest, open, and civil posts about memories, lessons learned, and randomness, you’ll like it here.

Why Though?

Admittedly, I do have a backstory for this blog. I suffer from a mental disorder known as Gender Dysphoria. That means that while I was born male, I don’t identify with men in general. There was no sudden onset or even a slow appearance of symptoms. As a child, I felt like an intruder in my own skin. The anxiety caused emotional outbursts and impulsive behavior attributed, by untrained eyes, to Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder. However, I never have had ADHD. I always feel immense gratitude that my parents never gave in to the pressure to put me on medication.

I began this site as a way to keep a diary of my experiences, and while it has gone off the rails a few times, I think it’s here to stay.
